In diesem Bericht stellen wir die Teams und Fahrzeuge vor:

TEAM RED DOT in KALMAR RS #1

TEAM RED DOT in KALMAR RS #1

(Porsche 964) Lois & Howard. Originally Australians but left long enough ago and are now Singaporeans, but rarely there except from when the world is closed down. Hard to find places they have not yet visited and really the core essence of an unusual petrol head couple. Even too much driving is never enough for them. Done Australia, Georgia and Alps recce with us in addition to the winter experience and can’t wait for more to come.

TEAM BLACK FOREST in KALMAR RS-R #0

TEAM BLACK FOREST in KALMAR RS-R #0

(Porsche 964) Beate & Rainer. Great German couple with a fair bit of fuel in their blood. We have built them their own car for the driving adventures we offer worldwide. Always a great smile on their face and problems are turned into possibilities. Australia, Georgia, Iceland, Alps-Crossing and winter experience are already behind them and surely more Beyond Adventures will happen before we all meet in Lima.

DESERT FLYER in Desert Flyer

DESERT FLYER in Desert Flyer

(Porsche 964) Siri and Cameron, our second two-generation team and now daughter and father. Cameron is a huge Porsche enthusiast and has done unique driving adventures. One is the Baja 500 in a Porsche 911 which tells it all. New to us but with that DNA nothing can go wrong. When introduced to the idea it took them 1 day to check everything and sign in! Way to go!

TEAM TURTLE BY THE SEA in KALMAR CS #1

TEAM TURTLE BY THE SEA in KALMAR CS #1

(Porsche Cayenne E2) Tim, Chad and Jessica, our first two-generations team and in this case father with son and daugther. Tim is the calmest guy you will meet, taking things nice and easy whether in cold Lapland or in the high altitudes of Himalaya. Timing does not excite him too much but always arrives and mostly before time. Chad and Jessica are new to the group but have already left a good impression with the design of their car for the Andes Challenge. Tim has done both Europe and Bhutan with us.

TEAM MACAU in KALMAR CS-R #0

TEAM MACAU in KALMAR CS-R #0

(Porsche Cayenne E1) Agnes & Jason. We have given up to find out where they live: UK, Macau, Shanghai and Hongkong just to mention a few. Huge enthusiasm and eagerness to see the world. Driving long trips are new to them but seems to have caught them. Jason did Europe and both did Bhutan with us. Their Porsche Cayenne V6 KALMAR CS-R has a special “red-wine-safe” fitted in the back of the car. Also Agnes and Jason’s son Harris will join from La Paz to Santiago.

TEAM RISING SUN in KALMAR RS #3

TEAM RISING SUN in KALMAR RS #3

(Porsche 993) Ute & Bernd. A great German couple we have got to know not so long ago. Both are Porsche lovers and enjoy to take out their classic Porsches regularly. They have joined us in winter this year and are all excited to be part of this amazing adventure. As a test trial they got behind the steering wheel for the Alps-Crossing in July this year. Now we just have to wait if Ute’s daugther Jessica is able to join as well or not.

TEAM CORRECAMINOS in KALMAR RS #3

TEAM CORRECAMINOS in KALMAR RS #3

(Porsche 993) Barbara and Oskar – citizens of the whole world and true adventurer spirit. As always seeking new endeavours. Barbara was born in Mexico so surely a big help with the language when we get to South America and Dutch Oskar who was doing Le Mans 24h with my team and is the Co-founder of The Longest Drive project. Barbara and Oskar are the perfect companions and team members throughout entire Andes Rally family.

TEAM SWEEPER in KALMAR CS #2

TEAM SWEEPER in KALMAR CS #2

(Porsche Cayenne E2) Frank will be heading this team. An atypical German, probably from living 20 years+ in Asia. He could be Thai (he also lives in Thailand now) as he has one big smile. He is a solid rock that does not see problems but opportunities. Frank has done Georgia and winter with us and has signed in for everything else we do. Frank will be joining the Andes Rally as a single driver and will therefore share the car with a selection of individuals. We have 1-2 additional team members for team Macao and Rising Sun (Harris and Jessica). And if Frank ends up “alone” the support crew shares the drive with him… The Sweeper team is our “Joker” team as they can choose between a 911 or a Cayenne. These cars will together with the famous Zebra Porsche act as the spare cars.

TEAM SWEEPER

Die Rallye wird eine Herausforderung für Mensch und Maschine. Speziell in den Anden auf 5000 m Höhe wird auch die Maschine nach Sauerstoff lechzen.

Die Routen und die Highlights finden Sie dann im nächsten Bericht.
