This year, we completed something no one had done before:
A journey across Africa that pushed limits and opened doors.
One of the most unforgettable legs was Angola – a place of red earth, remote tracks, and warm encounters. For us, it wasn’t just about the roads we conquered, but about experiencing a country few travellers ever reach in this way.

Angola reflection
In Angola, the terrain demanded endurance and rewarded us with raw beauty. Every mile brought contrasts: rugged trails, untouched landscapes, and moments of pure connection.
It was a milestone within the Trans Africa adventure, and a reminder of why the Trans Series exists – to go further, to cross regions others won’t, and to share these roads with the few who dare.

Visit to Mount Etjo
But not all memories are written in dust. One of the most grounding moments
of Trans Africa was our visit to Mount Etjo Safari Lodge, home
to the legendary conservation work of the Oelofse family.
Here, we paused to step away from the driver’s seat and walk closer to the heart of Africa.
Surrounded by wildlife and the people who dedicate their lives to protecting it, we were reminded that true adventure isn’t only about reaching new roads – it’s also about giving back to the land that makes them possible.

Every leg of Trans Africa carried its own meaning
Some tested us with distance and terrain. Others gave us perspective and gratitude. Together, they became more than a journey — they became a story
that will stay with all of us forever.
